'the colored section'
This is a short film I shot years ago for a UNO class. The basis of it is to not let others dictate who you are, because in the end, it is your perception of yourself you have to live with...

'bar tonique'
After his commercial shoot, and me getting off of working a two hour shift during my vacation, Damion invited me to a 'wrap party' for the crew of his new commercial. It was at a place on Rampart called 'bar tonique'. It reminded me a lot of Hostel, with the brick bar and low lighting. There were some cool people... I got into a conversation about films, and Damion ended up being sucked into a convo... about what, I don't know because I was talking about how Keith David is the greatest actor of all time.

'howling success'
Saturday, I went to the LASPCA event 'Howling Success' with Damion and Johnny Angel. It was a very cool event, in which Thea did a great job, as always. The only problem was the food. Good food, but I probably should have eaten before I went. Did drink a lot of Jack Daniels, tho. Only problem is I did not get a buzz all night... Strange.

'Yancy Dance'
This is the 'Damion Yancy' footage from Thursday night. As I stated before, security were acting shady that night, so I grabbed this footage and left. I spent most of that night chillin' with Jill outside of PIE, because I had to work at 4am... you know how I roll...

'They Live'
So last night, I was sitting at work watching the new ABC show 'V', which is pretty cool. The problem I had with it was that it really reminded me of John Carpenter's 'They Live'. So I looked it up and found out that the mini series that 'V' is based off of , also named 'V', was made years before 'They Live'. So, since they've remade 'V', I wonder if they're going to remake 'They Live'?
And by the way, I have a pair of Ray Ban's, and I'm watching you mofo's...

'Halloween Frenchman St. 2009'
Halloween started off very promising. I was on Frenchman, listening to Electro. Then I was on Frenchman, which was hella packed, looking at a ton of Billy Mays. Then came the dude in the blue anime suit and his band, who sounded like a backup band for Outcast. It was one of the greatest times ever, but it also felt like the scene from 'The 10 Commandments', where Moses comes off the mountain and throws the tablets to the ground because they were worshiping false idols... yea, that's what it felt like. Then it went downhill. Chicks lose purses, throw up, and for some strange reason, I became a babysitter. Gotta watch em'... them ho's must have me fucked up with someone else...
